What we collect, where it lives, and how we protect it.
Pet Valid stores your data securely in the cloud using Supabase. Your pet health records are tied to your account and protected with industry-standard encryption. We never sell your data.
This Privacy Policy explains how Pet Valid ("the app"), developed by LumenWorx LLC, collects, stores, and protects your information. Pet Valid uses Supabase — a secure, hosted database platform — to store your pet health records so they are backed up, accessible across devices, and never lost if you change phones.
We take your privacy seriously. We collect only what's necessary to run the app, we do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

We do not collect location data, advertising identifiers, or any information beyond what is needed to operate the app.
We do not use your information for advertising, behavioral profiling, or any purpose unrelated to delivering Pet Valid to you.
Pet Valid uses Supabase as its backend database platform. Your data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure, which is hosted on AWS and operates under strict security standards including:
Supabase acts as a data processor on our behalf and is contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing their database service. You can review Supabase's privacy practices at supabase.com/privacy.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, with the following limited exceptions:
No data is shared with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing platforms — ever.
Because your data is stored in your account, you have full control over it:
To request account deletion or a data export, email us at support@petvalid.com. We will fulfill deletion requests within 30 days.
Your account is protected by email-based authentication through Supabase. We recommend using a strong, unique password. We will never ask for your password via email or support messages. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately.
Pet Valid is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our database within 30 days. Anonymous, aggregated analytics data (which cannot identify you) may be retained for longer to help us improve the app.
We may update this policy as Pet Valid evolves. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you via the app or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
